First impressions count and your application to a job and your CV is no exception.
When applying to Lumleys ensure that you have sent us all relevant information in the first instance otherwise this will only delay the process.
What we look for:
• Recent, related experience
• A good work history that does not show any gaps – any gaps in your work history should be accounted for
• Short, concise information is important – applications that provide unrelated information will only cloud over the related experience
• Presentation – a well presented CV will always get more attention, this includes special attention to checking spelling and grammar
• Honesty – be honest in your application and make sure you back up your comments with evidence of experience
• Chronological – we always advise to start with your most recent job and work backwards. CVs should only be 2 pages long and you should be conscious of writing copious details on jobs many years ago particularly if they bear no relevance to your current application
