For private jobs, make sure you turn up on time, wearing the correct uniform and following any other instructions you may have been given. Chefs need to make sure they have all of the correct equipment with them. You will paid at the end of the job by the Client.
For corporate jobs, turn up on time, in the correct uniform and ALWAYS take a timesheet with you. Sometimes the Clients have them, but it is best to be prepared.
Make sure you fill in the timesheet and get it authorised at the end of your shift. Your timesheet needs to be sent to info@lumleyscooks.co.uk or faxed to 08719116085 by 10 am on a Monday morning at the LATEST.
Remember to be polite, courteous, helpful and always exceed the client’s expectations.

Please use the Candidate resource centre.

It is not necessary to have a CRB check to work for most of our Clients. Some of the corporate ones, such as schools or hospitals will require it. However, more and more Clients are asking for one, especially if you are working around children. We do suggest that it is a good investment, as it makes you more placeable.
-
Firstly you need to register with us and this can be done by speaking to us initially and a pre-registration interview will be carried out via a phone call where we can ascertain if you have the right experience in Catering and Hospitality.
