What duties can I expect from a Chef ?
A Chef from Greycoat or Lumleys will have worked in a Private House, Villa or Chalet either on a permanent basis or short-term. The Chef will have a good understanding of how private houses run. They will be responsible for cooking day to day meals for all the family and in some houses cooking for staff. They will look after the cleanliness of the kitchen, organise the menus and be responsible for the shopping and keeping accounts. The chef should provide you with a menu before hand so that you can discuss choices prior to the event. The chef would be able to cope with large and varying numbers so long as they were given enough notice for changes. All of our chefs have been personally met by one of the consultants and they have been fully referenced
