All academic subjects catered for. All levels and exams up to GCSE, A-Level and university entry. Assistance with applications for schools and further and higher education.
Our Tutors are usually available up to 5 afternoons per week for 1 – 3 hour sessions either on a short term or permanent basis
We register Tutors who are:
• Highly experienced with excellent references
• Organised, patient, flexible
• Able to motivate students to learn and achieve their full academic potential
• Excellent communicators
• Usually qualified as either Primary, Secondary or ESL Teachers
• Experienced within the UK National Curriculum
Governesses/Tutors are professional child educators in a private home, usually on a live in basis working 5 or 6 days a week. They are responsible for the intellectual and social development of their charges, rather than the physical. These candidates would normally expect to work with children for whom English is not the first language, and will usually have a teaching background and/or Nanny experience. They would expect to organise activities for the children, tutor them as necessary (this would normally be in English language), teach them life skills such as etiquette and cultural appreciation, for example. They could also home-school where required. Governesses/Tutors are normally not expected to perform any household duties.
