Greycoat Placements – Sponsor of the Professional Nanny of the Year Award 2008

Professional Nanny of the Year Award which was launched in 2004, was created to recognise the highly professional, important role nannies play in providing high quality, safe and flexible childcare to thousands of families throughout the UK.

Greycoat Placements have been great supporters of this award and this year are sponsoring the
1st Prize.

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY

To qualify for nomination your nanny MUST:

 Be qualified to Level 3 standard (UK recognised qualifications only) *

 Have a minimum of 2 years recent nannying experience

 Have a current full Enhanced CRB Disclosure *

 Have a current First Aid Certificate (Paediatric) *

 Be currently employed as a nanny

 Be nominated by current or previous employer

 The nomination must include a Professional Endorsement by, for example:

 College Lecturer
 Training Placement Manager
 Employer’s GP
 Health Visitor
 Submit a 500 word (min) description of a typical working day

 Submit a ‘head and shoulders’ photograph

 Submit a current C.V.

 Be prepared, if short-listed, to attend a full day interview to be held on Thursday 19th June 2008 at Chiltern College, Reading and to provide all original documentation. *as indicated above. (If your nanny does not have all of these certificates, we can advise you on where you can obtain such training for him/her and of any likely costs).

 Be free on Tuesday, 29th July 2008 to attend PAT’s annual conference at the Daventry Hotel, Daventry, where winners will be announced and prizes awarded.
